your child's first day

At Ocean Shores Early Learning Centre Child Care, we believe that learning should be fun! Our play-based approach to early childhood education promotes creativity, curiosity, and exploration. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

 The following items labelled with your child's first and last name:

 🎒 Back Pack 

🧢  Bucket Hat (wide brimmed)

👕  Spare change of clothes – appropriate for the weather

👶  Nappies (minimum of 6 a day) 

🍼  Bottle 

🥛  Formula

🍼  Drink Bottle (Please only fill drink bottle with water) 

💊  Medication (if required) - please complete medication record via the OWNA app

🛏️  Bed sheets for rest time

🧸  Comforters – dummy etc.

🧥  Jumper and/or Jacket 

🌧️  Raincoat and gumboots

 Every child is different when it comes to drop off. However, for first timers, we recommend bringing them to an educator, spending 2-3 minutes playing and then saying goodbye and telling them when you'll come back. As they become more comfortable with the environment, it will get easier but it's important to allow ample time for drop off so that you're not rushed in the morning. 

To ensure we keep accurate records of attendance, please sign your child into the service using the OWNA app at the front desk. If you're in a rush, not to worry! You can even sign them in from your phone by clicking the middle + button or let one of the educators know.
